OUR COMPANY SAFETY STRAPLINE IS…  

Summary of Health & Safety ethos is as follows:

  • That all workers are integral to developing & maintaining a strong Health & Safety Culture
  • That our ‘5 principals of success’ (illustrated by a star) are followed at all times by workers as which forms the basics for our health & safety practices. These are:

         1. Effective Policies, Procedures & Protocols

         2. PPE

         3. Identification of defects & maintenance

         4. Training & Competence

         5. Housekeeping

  • That Health & Safety is embedded into the Induction process and all workers receive relevant induction information right from pre-employment stages
  • That all Workers receive Health & Fitness screening for all workers both pre-employment and on a periodic basis thereafter once employed
  • That all Workers are Trained & Competent for the tasks they perform
  • That Risk Assessments & Method Statements (RAMS) are  completed, including Site Specific Risk Assessments (SSRA) for each client job
  • That all Workers are included in our Health & Safety Management Systems; and each person has access to health & safety information in order to ensure continued success and each person takes responsibility for their own & others’ health & safety
  • That there are continual communications of Health & Safety matters including meetings, toolbox talks, workers involved in health & safety polls and discussions to improve our safety culture.
  • That Crew Leaders take ownership of Health & Safety

Our latest Health & Safety Policy is updated at least annually.

New Crane Vehicle for Beddow Tree- used for Log and Woodchip Deliveries

Beddow Tree have purchased another vehicle which will be used for Log and Woodchip deliveries. The vehicle has a crane which will be used to lift and lower the tonne bags from our vehicle in a professional manner.   More information on these services will be available on our website in due course.
